OPEN POSITIONS

Professional Recruiter — Morristown, New Jersey

This position will develop the standards, practices and policies for appropriately and effectively recruiting talented, highly skilled professionals for the company through a variety of unique marketing and sourcing processes. This position will work with all departments in an effort to build accurate and well-defined job descriptions for every position in the company in order to source, interview and select the most qualified candidates in all areas of our organization. The recruiter is responsible for interviewing, testing and referring applicants for all positions throughout the company. The recruiter must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all positions, an understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. This position will work in partnership with the human resources team to ensure that the on boarding of an employee is appropriately conducted. The recruiter will provide interviewing techniques and instructional tools to the organization. The recruiter will conduct background checks, reference checks and exit interviews as required by the company’s practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain the standards, practices and policies for recruiting to include tracking of candidates, open positions and hired positions. 

  • Develops and maintains well-defined job descriptions for all positions in the company.

  • Works with the HR staff in determining appropriate salary guidelines for each position.

  • Ensures process of position justification requisitions and new hire requests.

  • Coordinates with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for position(s).

  • Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.

  • Develops creative marketing / advertising sourcing tools.

  • Screens and interviews applicants.

  • Coordinates appropriate background and drug testing for candidates.

  • Conducts reference check verification.

  • Extends verbal offers.

  • Maintains employee referral program.

  • Conducts orientation of new employees.

  • Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment and insurance forms, notifying the department of employee's starting date and the requisition the employee is filling, etc.

  • Completes weekly report on employment activity (open positions, filled, terminated).

  • Conducts exit interviews with terminating employees.

  • Completes unemployment claims and provides company representation at unemployment hearings. 

  • Provide interviewing techniques to the company interviewers.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.

  • 3 years of recruiting experience

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Relationship management expertise.

  • Team player.

Healthcare Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of the company’s Central Billing Operation. Maintain a high level of knowledge of all issues related to the rules and regulations relative to billing of our services, including ongoing collections of any outstanding accounts. Ensure that all insurance verification, prior authorizations, billing, and efficient cash collection through excellent reimbursement practices are conducted in a manner consistent and in support of all company policies and procedures. Conducts all activities in a professional manner while working closely with the branch offices and the Corporate office.

Role and Responsibilities

· Possesses and consistently demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all policies and procedures of Level Four Orthotics and Prosthetics, Inc.

· Possesses and consistently demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all rules, regulations and practices of all paysources, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicaid, third party pay sources, and any related contracts.

· Possesses and consistently demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all billing systems, electronic and other, as applicable.

· Demonstrates and practices understanding of reimbursement rates and communicates such appropriate information to patients.

· Recognizes the necessity of working closely with all branch offices to assure consistency in submission of applicable data to assure accuracy and timeliness in billing.

· Obtain accurate insurance information, verification and pre-authorizations.

· Process all billing daily, ensuring that claims are accurate, timely, and fully documented.

· Coordinate communications with payers to ensure accurate billing practices, achieve cash collection targets and reduction of A/R is maintained at company expectations.

· Provide Counseling to patients advising them of their financial responsibilities and obtain credit agreements for outstanding balances.

· Performs other duties or special projects as assigned .

Required Skills

· Strong customer service skills

· Ability to key 50 words per minute with accuracy.

· Understanding of medical reimbursement terminology and complete understanding of general office duties.

· Proficient computer skills including Windows based office technologies, email, and automated billing systems.

· Knowledge of state, federal and regional collection and reimbursement laws where applicable.

· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks.

· Proficiency with basic math and accounting skills.

· Ability to work effectively as a team member.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to walk, bend, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.

· Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.

· Ability to speak and hear sufficient to understand and give directions.

· Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration with state labor laws.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associate degree preferred.

· Minimum two to four years medical office administrative experience required.

Technicians

Our team of experienced technicians is expanding and we are searching for qualified individuals with experience or those that can be trained to join our team. We will train qualified technicians in our discipline if other skill sets meet the requirements. Skills in the cutting and finishing process through to the completion of an orthotic or prosthetic device preferred. Ideal candidates are certified in orthotic and or prosthetic fabrication, will possess knowledge of polypropylene, copolymer and carbon fiber bracing. The position requires the knowledge to build a orthotics or prosthetics. Metal bending and shoe work is a plus but can be taught. This is a skilled finishing position. Our fabrication facility is a well-equipped, full service center. 3-5 years of experience in a machine or technical environment is desired.
